In December, 2020, Lil Wayne entered a guilty plea to possessing a firearm.

The charge arose out of a firearm found in his belongings in a private plane at a Miami airport.

The feds claim that an anonymous call informed them of the firearm.

On December 23, 2019, police boarded the plane and interrogated Lil Wayne.

Lil Wayne did not know to simply say “I want a Lawyer” and instead confessed.

The pistol was loaded and was stored with small amounts of cocaine, ecstacy and oxycodone.

Lil Wayne is facing up to ten years in prison.

Lil Wayne was previously convicted of a felony gun charge in New York in 2009.

Lil Wayne was apparently promised a recommendation of less time in jail in exchange for his guilty plea.
