Rapper Kidd Creole aka Nathaniel Glover was convicted in April of 2022 with manslaughter.

Creole was found guilty of the 2017 knifing death of a homeless man which happened in midtown Manhattan.

Creole was one of the founding members of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five.

The group consisted of Creole, Melle Mei, The Keith Cowboy and Mr. Ness/Scorpio and Rahiem.

According to the prosecution, Creole stabbed the victim after the victim suggested Creole was gay.

Immediately after the stabbing, Creole went to work, changed his clothes, cleaned and disposed of the knife.

Creole’s defense argued reasonable self-defense.

The police maintain that Creole admitted the stabbing was not in self-defense.

Rapper Quavo belongs to the group Migos.

Quavo is the defendant in a civil suit brought by a Las Vegas Limo driver.

The Limo Driver alleges that Quavo and his attendants assaulted him when a group member was accidentally left behind.

As the Driver dropped off Quavo and his entourage at a hotel the group first threw a bottle and then beat and kicked him.

The alleged assault was so violent that the Hotel staff and security hid inside the Hotel.

Quavo has been in the legal limelight before in an alleged assault on his former girlfriend Saweetie.

The authorities determined it was mutual combat and declined to pursue charges.

42 Dugg is an up and coming rapper.

In 2019, Dugg was charged with illegally possessing a firearm at an Atlanta shooting range.

Dugg was convicted of a felony in 2010.

As a felon, Dugg is prohibited from possessing a firearm for any purpose including target shooting.

The prosecution wanted active incarceration for years.

In November of 2021, a federal Judge gave Dugg three years probation and a $90,000.00 fine for illegal firearm possession.

Dugg was incarcerated as a juvenile.

Dugg could have received ten years in prison.

Apparently the Court was taken with Dugg’s attempts to show remorse and accept responsibility for his mistake.

Lil Tjay is a rapper, singer and songwriter.

At the end of December, 2020, right before the new year, Lil was stopped in Brooklyn, NY.

Lil was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for changing lanes with signaling first.

A minor charge.

Police smelled marijuana.

Police searched the vehicle.

Police found four loaded firearms and a significant amount of marijuana.

Lil and the other occupants of the vehicle did not incriminate themselves.

Lil and the other occupants of the vehicle were arrested.

Hopefully Lil understood to say the magic words: ” I want a Lawyer.”

There was also a grand larceny charge which was not explained by police at the time of this blog post.

Lil was searched the week before at a rap video shoot.

Obviously police are following Lil and targeting him for arrest.

Eddie Johnson is the superintendent for Chicago’s very large police force.

In October, of 2019,  Superintendent Johnson was discovered unconscious in a vehicle stopped at a stop light.

Obviously, most people suspect that the Superintendent was intoxicated or under the influence of some drug.

Police were summonsed by passing motorists.

When the police arrived a DWI Investigation was not conducted.

Police supervisors were summoned and a DWI Investigation was not conducted.

The Superintendent was allowed to drive himself home.

The police did not conduct a preliminary breath test (PBT).

The Superintendent suggested that a mix up in his high blood pressure medication was the cause of his losing consciousness while driving.

The Superintendent did state that he had several drinks before driving.
